Starting January 1, 2024, applications for Medi-Cal will no longer ask about your assets but will only consider your income. Income includes money you receive from property in the form of rent and any other money paid to you for the use of your property. If you have been denied coverage in the past, there is a possibility you will be approved in 2024.
