The Project Based Voucher (PBV) Waiting List will be open Monday, April 1, 2019 10:00am through Friday, April 5, 2019 4:00pm.
The Contra Costa County Housing Authority administers the Project Based Voucher Program. The program is similar to the traditional Section 8 Voucher, or Housing Choice Voucher program. However, this program is different, because the housing subsidy is attached to particular property. Applicants typically pay about 30% of their income for the rent. There are income eligibility requirements.
It is unclear how long it can take from getting on the waiting list to getting housed. But, this is an exciting opportunity to access affordable housing in the future for eligible tenant applicants. There are no age restrictions, meaning seniors can apply along with other perspective tenants.

- Terrace Glen Apartments – 107 W. 20th Street, Antioch, CA [1-3 bedroom family units]
- Pinecrest Apartments – 1945 Cavallo Rd., Antioch, CA [1 bedroom family units]
- St. Paul’s Commons – 1860 Trinity Ave., Walnut Creek, CA [0-1 bedroom family units]
- Heritage Point Apartments – 1540 Fred Jackson Way, Richmond, CA [1-3 bedroom family units]
Interested individuals can submit pre-applications on-line only at www.contracostahousing.org. The Housing Authority will not accept incomplete or partially complete applications. Contact the Contra Costa Housing Authority at (925) 957-7081 with any questions.
